Change Validating Authority

Change Validating Authority

Change/Modify Validating Authority

This guide will explain how to change/modify the Validating Authority within PCRes.

Click on Preferences and from here choose “Validating Authority” from the top tabs.

In here, highlight the one you want to change and click “Edit”

This will show you the options and settings for that Validating Authority.

The IP in the sample below is set to the Sierra/III database which is valid as of September 2018. This will change to a new IP on the 4th of October 2018.

To adjust the settings on or after that date, just adjust the 4 octet boxes under the option “Server Address” from 217.112.157.88 to the new IP. The port should also be adjusted if it has changed. Then click “OK” and those new setting will take effect.
