How to duplicate a tag in a cataloguing record

How to duplicate a tag in a cataloguing record

Koha frameworks shape MARC21 into workforms of information library staff can use to create records for their catalogue. The fields in these workforms can be edited in a variety of ways through the associated framework. This document will outline how to repeat all the subfields in an overall MARC tag in a bibliographic form.
Create a new bibliographic record or go into edit an existing one. This will open a workform which holds the MARC21 fields that make up the title record.
This document will use the 650 tag as an example.
Use the tabs across the top of the workform to navigate to the tag to be duplicated. In this example, clicking on the 6 tab at the top of the form will open the page the 650 fields are stored in.

The number of the overall field will appear below the green tabs across the top of the form. Click the number of the tag to be duplicated.

This will move the page down to view the tag and subfields.

The overall tag can be duplicated by going to the title of the tag, in this case 650 - SUBJECT ADDED ENTRY--TOPICAL TERM and there should be two small rectangles to the right beside the title. Hover over that icon and a message will appear saying Repeat this tag.

Click this icon the 650 tag and all the subfields in it will be duplicated below the original 650 tag.
