How to display the name of the patron who submitted a comment on the OPAC

It is possible to enable comments on the OPAC, for more details on this, please check our Help Centre.

By default, these comments will be anonymous on the OPAC, but it is possible to set the site to display a name of the patron who made the comment. Regardless of the settings for the OPAC, staff will be able to see the name of the patron who submitted the comment from the staff side.

How to enable the function

Go to Koha administration > Global System Preferences and search for ShowReviewer.

This will bring up a few system preferences with similar names. The system preference with the exact name of ShowReviewer provides the ability to identify the patron who submitted the comment on the OPAC.

The ShowReviewer system preference has a few options for what type of name should display on the OPAC next to the comment the patron has made.
