ILL Requests - Automatic Bibliographic Records
ILL Requests - Automatic Bibliographic Records
When you create a 'Book' type request a brief catalog record is created automatically based on the Fast Add MARC framework. A bibliographic record will not be automatically created if any Type other than 'Book' is selected from the dropdown.
A brief bibliographic record will automatically be created for all ILL requests created with 'Book' as the Type request and if the ILL request is initially created as 'Book' and then changed to any other Type the bibliographic record automatically created as a response to selecting the Type 'Book' will remain. However, if the ILL request is initially created as any Type other than 'Book' and then changed to 'Book' a bibliographic record will not be automatically created.
