Validation Rules

To prevent access or restrict users to specific PC areas you can use a number of different validation rules. These would normally be set at the time of PC Reservation installation, however if PC rules change or new areas are created addition option may become available to the library.

Click Configure and select User Validation Rules Wizard

Click Add Rule:

In this rule I am adding a rule to allow pType 111 access to the Children’s Area PC’s only:

Click OK and OK again:

Use test card for pType 111 and make sure they can only use the Children’s Area PCs.
