How to link to a bibliographic record on the OPAC through the staff side

It is possible to add a link to a bibliographic record which will bring staff members to the OPAC. 

Go to Koha administration > System Preferences and search for OPACBaseURL.

This will bring up a system preference of the same name. 

Ensure this system preference contains the link to the OPAC homepage specifically. Ensure there is no training punctuation at the start or end of the address. 

Notes
Please contact Interleaf Technology to confirm the OPAC url for your site.
Click Save all OPAC preferences. 


Appearance on the staff side

Once the system preference has been saved off successfully, on every bibliographic record on the site there will be a link to the OPAC. Click the link to be taken into a the OPAC in a new tab. There will be no matching link back to the staff side from the OPAC.
