Clean staged MARC records

Clean staged MARC records
When you import a batch of MARC records, Koha creates a file of ‘staged’ records so you can view them before actually importing them into your database. You can test importing the batch using different parameters with the option to ‘Undo import to catalog’. However, once you are satisfied with the import it is a good idea to clean out old batches of staged records. You may find that you have batches of staged records that you imported over several years. They serve no purpose and are cluttering your database.
Go to Tools, select Staged MARC record management and all batches will be listed.

To clear a batch of staged records, click on the ‘Clean’ button on the right hand side of the line. You will be prompted ‘Clear all reservoir records staged in this batch? This cannot be undone’. When you click on ‘OK’ the ‘Delete’ button will be offered so you can click on this to delete the batch.
