It is possible to set a time limit on how long purchase suggestions remain, unaddressed, on the staff side before they are removed from the system.

Enable the system preference

This will bring you to a system preference PurgeSuggestionsOlderThan

It is important to note that this function will only work if the misc/cronjobs/purge_suggestions.pl is set to run nightly. Please contact Interleaf Technology to confirm that this is running on your site. 

To enable this system preference fill in the number of days a purchase suggestion should be kept before it is purged from the system and hit Save all Acquisition preferences.

Unlike when a purchase suggestion is accepted or rejected, a suggestion removed by this system preference will be erased from the OPAC side and won’t leave a trace.
