How to enable batch checkouts
This document will outline how to enable the batch checkout function on patron accounts.
Patron account before batch checkout is enabled
Enabling the batch checkouts function
Go to Koha administration > System Preferences and search for BatchCheckouts.
This will bring up two system preferences for setting batch checkouts on patron accounts.

Set this system preference to Allow batch checkouts and click Save all Circulation preferences.
BatchCheckoutsValidCategories
This system preference includes a dropdown menu which contains the patron categories that can be set to have batch checkouts available. Select the patron categories that should have batch checkouts available by clicking into the little box beside the patron category on the dropdown menu. Selected patron categories should have a white tick on a blue background. One, some or all patron categories can be selected. Once the desired patron categories are selected, click Save all Circulation preferences.
